The Local 550 law firm of Nolan, Harrington and Perroni are offering a time-limited benefit to all Local 275 and Local 550 union members.

In the near future, Gary Nolan and a number of lawyers from his firm will make themselves available to draft estate plans (i.e. wills) for any members that want to participate.

The normal cost for a single person paying a lawyer to draft an estate plan ranges from $600-$900.

The normal cost for a family (e.g. wife and children) opting to pay a lawyer to have an estate plan drafted ranges $1,000 - $1,500+.

As we all know, the sad reality is career correction officers live an average life span of 58 years of age. If you don’t have an estate plan, now the time to get one. Your loved ones could someday depend on your having your finances in legal working order.

Given the enormous savings to our members, Gary Nolan asks only that we secure a minimum of 50 of our members to make it worth their effort to coordinate the event.

You may extend this $300 estate offer to your family and immediate friends looking to save a bundle off what they would normally pay.

It’s worth noting that he W.P.D. (Local 911) recently took advantage of this exact plan and had upwards of 60 police officers pay for the service.

I’m normally reluctant to take advantage of “special offers” and nonsense that tries to take my hard-earned money out of my pocket. But I would invite every one of you reading this to pick up a phone book and call your local attorney. Confirm if you can get any law professional to compete with the prices offered to us by Gary; my suspicion is that you’ll come to the same conclusion as I did and opt to take advantage of the service while it’s available.
